Mother accused in child porn ring waives preliminary hearing

(Vinita-AP) -- A woman accused of sexually abusing her daughter in a multicounty child pornography case has waived her right to a preliminary hearing in Craig County.

Thirty-nine-year-old Heike Gertrude Julian of Commerce is scheduled to be arraigned in Craig County District Court September 27th on a charge of sexually abusing a child.

Her husband, 33-year-old Jarrod Sean Julian, is a co-defendant in the case.

Heike Julian was sentenced to 45 years in prison in a plea agreement in Ottawa County involving the same child. She pleaded no contest to counts of child abuse and possessing or procuring obscene materials.

Jarrod Julian is still being held by federal authorities in Tulsa and has not appeared yet in Craig County court.

He was sentenced in April to serve four consecutive life prison sentences after pleading guilty in Tulsa county to 12 felony charges.
