A burglary at a Tulsa police officer’s home ends in a shooting and an arrest. Police say two men broke into the home of Officer Debra Baldwin late Monday night. Baldwin came home while the suspects were still inside her house.

She ordered them to stop and when one man came towards her, she fired several times. One suspect was wounded in the leg. Officers followed a trail of blood next door and captured him. “The officers made entry into an attached garage where they found one black male hiding in the back seat of a car that was parked in the garage and he had a wound to his lower leg,” said Tulsa Police Department spokesman Captain Mark McCrory.

The second suspect escaped and apparently took a gun from Officer Baldwin's home. He is considered armed and dangerous. The name of the captured suspect has not been released. Baldwin is a four-year veteran of the police department
