The mayor of the small town of Dewar in Okmulgee County is in jail on complaints of first degree rape and lewd and indecent exposure. 56-year-old Haskell Wadsworth turned himself in to Henryetta police Monday.
He's accused of sexually molesting a 10-year-old girl for the past two years. Wadsworth is being held at a different jail for his own protection. The court set his bond at $100,000. Wadsworth is scheduled to be back in court next Tuesday.
