(Stillwater-AP) -- Lawson Giddings says he is where he is because he kept his faith. He is at Oklahoma State.
Giddings was among the top recruits in Oklahoma as a senior at McAlester High School in 1998. He signed with Oklahoma State, but academics forced a detour. He ended up going to Northeastern A-and-M.
Giddings has only praise for Northeastern A-and-M, saying it is one of the best junior colleges in the nation. He says he knows he still has a lot to learn.
The junior receiver reported to camp with the rest of Oklahoma State's newcomers this week and took part in his second go-round of pre-season drills yesterday.
