(Amarillo-AP) -- Two minor earthquakes hit Amarillo today, slightly shaking residents who live just north of the city and leaving others in disbelief.

Officials say the quakes measured 3.3 and 3.0 on the Richter scale.

The tremors hit the Panhandle city less than a week after a quake measured at 2.7 was reported Wednesday.
