Blevins moves to C-B-S

(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahoma City sports announcer Dean Blevins is joining CBS as an analyst.

Blevins has worked the past nine seasons as a college football sideline reporter and analyst for ABC. C-B-S is expected to announce today that Blevins will be paired with play-by-play announcer Craig Bolerjack on the second team.

Blevins also is KWTV-Nine's sports analyst, and is a sportscaster for KATT-FM and the Sports Animal radio network.

Blevins says he's excited about the move because he'll do fewer games for about the same amount of money and he'll be getting more national exposure. His first assignment will be Penn State at Pittsburgh at 2:30 p-m, September 16th.
