(Tulsa-AP) -- Oklahoma's recent rains have spelled bad news for a lot of folks. Just ask the 40 golfers who were hoping to challenge the second-round co-leaders at the Oklahoma Golf Association Stroke lay Championship in Tulsa.

Early morning rain and waterlogged course conditions at Indian Springs Country Club forced O-G-A officials to cancel the final round of the 54-hole event

Gary Cowan and Mike Hughett who shared a score of 139 for 36-holes were declared champions.

University of Oklahoma standout Kelsey Cline was third with a score of 140 while Rick Ruffin and Jimmy Shaw tied for fourth at 141.
