(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Pastry lovers in Oklahoma and Arkansas will soon be able to eat at Krispy Kreme doughnut shops. Three Oklahoma restaurateurs are planning to bring 12 to 15 of the franchise shops to Oklahoma and Arkansas. Four of the stores will be in Oklahoma City and three will be in Tulsa. Five shops will be in Arkansas with three in Little Rock, one in Fort Smith and one in Bentonville. Krispy Kreme Incorporated - best known for its sugar-glazed doughnuts - is based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The doughnut shop is a staple throughout the South. The company sold one-point-three (b) billion doughnuts last year in more than 150 stores in 27 states.
