(Tulsa-AP) -- N-F-L commissioner Paul Tagliabue isn't talking about who the new color analyst might be in the Monday Night Football booth.
Tagliabue says the announcement by A-B-C could come today. He was in Tulsa for a banquet last night. But he says he doesn't want to jump the gun.
A-B-C is looking to replace Boomer Esiason, who was dismissed after the 1999 season after two years in the booth.
The network has not tipped its hand, even to say whether it is looking for another former athlete.
Tagliabue says he's had a lot of conversations with A-B-C.
He says they're not so much about the talent in the booth, but about the schedules the league gives the network and the way teams present the games in the stadium.
