An inmate awaiting trial for murder escaped from the McIntosh county jail Saturday night.
Officers say 30-year-old Harrold McElmurry tore the wire mesh off a window and slipped through the bars.
McElmurry is awaiting trial for the murder of Robert and Vivian Pendley of Eufaula in August of last year.
A manhunt turned up nothing and authorities are now asking for your help.
McElmurry is described as 5'11" about one-hundred-40 pounds with short blonde hair.
He has several tattoos.
One on his left forearm is a snake around a dagger. Another on his right arm is a skull with the name Vickie.
