Tailor Fit among those in Parade of Stars

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Tailor Fit, winner of the MBNA Oklahoma Challenge, leads the list of horses chosen to the Parade of Stars for the 2000 quarter horse meeting at Remington Park.

Tailor Fit was named champion older male for the meeting by virtue of his victory in the May 13 challenge. He could repeat as horse of the meeting if he performs well in Saturday's Grade I$100,000 Remington Park Championship. The horse of the meeting will be announced after that race.

Sambaso Dancer was named champion Oklahoma-bred, with Joanna Kate named champion older female.

Other winners Tuesday, as chosen by track officials and media representatives, were: Celeb, champion 2-year-old; Gone Kool Man, champion 3-year-old; Drip Dry Dash, champion distance runner; Chunk of Change, champion Appaloosa; Izzy Lega, champion Paint; and Sure Nuff Fast, champion claimer.

The Parade of Stars will take place Saturday during the final day of the quarter horse season.
