Two Tulsa boys who were tied up during a burglary Tuesday are now in protective DHS custody. Tulsa Police say the boys were home alone again Wednesday and got scared a burglary could happen again, so they called 911. Officers say the burglary was not a random crime, but was drug related. They say the suspects were expecting a delivery of marijuana and when they didn't get it, they burglarized the house. They boys had seen the suspects before, which is why they let them inside. And, when the suspects suggested they play cops and robbers, the boys let themselves be duct taped and placed into a closet. Tulsa Police Sgt. Wayne Allen, says "this is not a random crime. It is predicated on the lifestyle of the people living there. True home invasion make up perhaps one percent of all crimes in the city of Tulsa." The boys were being raised by an uncle and his girlfriend. Police don't know where the biological parents are. They say now that the boys are safe, detectives will begin a drug investigation.
