(McAlester-AP) -- Agents from the Drug Enforcement Agency, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and McAlester police visited McAlester's Puterbaugh Middle School to present an anti-drug abuse program.

But while they were there, one of the D-E-A agents noticed a potential drug buy going down on the walking track behind the school.

Agents arrested two McAlester High School students for allegedly buying marijuana from some individuals in a car.

One of the D-E-A agents said the teenage boys even walked within ten feet of the law enforcement officers and wondering why there were so many officers around.

McAlester Public Schools Superintendent Doctor Lucy Smith says the district attorney's office will be handling possible prosecution through the juvenile services division.
