Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation public information officer Kym Koch reports the bureau is investigating circumstances surrounding the death of 40 year old Kevin Joseph Crutchfield.
A man searching for his son who was hiking near Porum in rural McIntosh County Saturday found the body.
Investigators said the body was badly decomposed, but investigators have determined Crutchfield died of a gunshot wound and are investigating this as a homicide. The location of the wound was not disclosed.
Investigators have not determined Crutchfield's hometown.
