(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has received part of a $2.5 million federal grant to help combat Internet crimes against children.

O-S-B-I will get $34,932 to buy new computer equipment.

Spokeswoman Kym Koch says the equipment will bolster the bureau's computer infrastructure and for additional training of agents.

The agency is called in at times to help local agencies investigate child pornography.

Deputy Attorney General Eric Holder announced the grants during a law enforcement training seminar at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The money is from the Justice Department's Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention under its Internet Crimes Against Children task force program.
