OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Here are the conditions at Oklahoma lakes as reported Wednesday by the state Department of Wildlife
Conservation and lake rangers.

CENTRAL
Arcadia: Water 60 and clear. Black bass fair over brushpiles;
channel catfish good on cut shad; crappie good near boat docks.
Hefner: Channel catfish good on worms, liver and cut bait off
the rocks near the dam; crappie good on minnows and jigs near the
docks.
Overholser: Sand bass and hybrids fair on white grubs and
spinnerbaits; crappie fair on minnows and jigs.
Thunderbird: Elevation 1 ft. below normal, water 57. Black bass
fair on spinnerbaits in shallow water; crappie fair on minnows and
jig, 3-6 ft.; saugeye fair on jigs off points.
Wes Watkins: Elevation 1 ft., below normal, water murky. All
fishing good.
NORTHEAST
Birch: Elevation normal, water murky. Hybrids good trolling
crankbaits and live shad; channel catfish good on cut shad and
chicken liver, 4-5 ft., off rocky points; crappie fair on minnows
and jigs, 2-4 ft., over brushpiles.
Carl Blackwell: Elevation normal, water 66 and murky. Black bass
good on spinnerbaits and crankbaits; channel catfish good on live
bait and cut bait; crappie good on minnows, jigs and spinners;
saugeye good on crankbaits.
Copan: Crappie good on minnows and jigs, 4-6 ft., near the
banks.
Eucha: Elevation below normal, water 60 and clear. All fishing
reported good.
Fort Gibson: Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water 65 and clear.
Black bass good on spinnerbaits and crankbaits, 5-6 ft., along
shorelines; channel catfish excellent on prepared baits and
drifting cut shad, 15-20 ft.; crappie good on minnows and jigs, 3-4
ft., near shoreline.
Greenleaf: Black bass good on spinnerbaits and crankbaits near
riprap; crappie good on minnows and jigs near fishing docks and
brushpiles.
Hudson: Black bass good on spinnerbaits and plastic worms;
channel catfish good on cut bait.
Hulah: Elevation above normal, water murky. Channel catfish
excellent drift fishing with live shad; crappie fair on minnows and
jigs in shallow water near brushpiles.
Kaw: Sand bass fair on jigs below the dam; blue catfish fair on
worms and shrimp near rocks; crappie good on minnows and jigs, 2-14
ft., near brushpiles and rocks.
Keystone: Elevation 1 ft. below normal, water 64 and murky.
Channel catfish good on cut shad; crappie good on minnows and jigs
near brushpiles.
Oologah: Elevation normal. Channel catfish good on cut shad,
liver and worms, 10 ft., in creeks; crappie good on minnows and
jigs, 2-4 ft.
Skiatook: Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water clear lower, murky
upper. Black bass good on spinnerbaits and jerkbaits in the creeks
and in shallow water; hybrids fair on live shad and trolling
crankbaits; crappie fair.
Sooner: Sand bass and hybrids fair on topwater lures in the
discharge canal; crappie fair on minnows and jigs near the highway
and over brushpiles.
Spavinaw: Elevation normal, water 60 and clear. All fishing
reported good.
Tenkiller: Elevation normal, water clear. Black bass good on
jigs-and-pigs and plastic worms; spawning crappie excellent in
shallow water; catfish fair on jigs using cut shad; sand bass fair
trolling Shad Raps.
Webbers Falls: Channel catfish good on worms and liver on
bottom; crappie good on minnows and jigs near brushpiles.
SOUTHEAST
Arbuckle: Elevation normal, water 68 and clear. Black bass good
along the shoreline; sand bass good on jigs and silver slabs in
shallow water in the upper arms; crappie good on minnows and jigs,
15-20 ft., near docks.
Atoka: Elevation 8 ft. below normal, water 63. Crappie fair on
minnows, 2 ft., along the shoreline near structure.
Broken Bow: Elevation normal, water 68 and clear. Black bass
fair off points; crappie fair in the creek channels.
Eufaula: Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water clear in the East
and murky in the West. Black bass good in shallow areas; sand bass
good below the dam in flowing water; channel catfish fair in the
feeder creeks; crappie good on minnows and jigs, 2-8 ft.
Hugo: Elevation 5 ft. above normal, water 63. Black bass fair on
spinnerbaits; channel catfish fair on cut shad; crappie good on
live minnows.
Konawa: Elevation normal, water 71 and clear. Black bass good on
plastic worms, 5-15 ft., in the weedbeds; sand bass and hybrids
fair on minnows, jigs, 15 ft., in the discharge canal; channel
catfish good on chicken liver and cut shad, 15 ft., in the
discharge canal.
McGee Creek: Elevation normal, water 63 and clear. Black bass
fair on spinnerbaits and soft plastic lures, 2-6 ft.
Murray: Elevation 5 ft. below normal, water 64 and clear. Black
bass fair on plastic worms; sand bass fair on minnows and jigs;
channel catfish fair on stinkbait; crappie fair on minnows and
jigs.
Robert S. Kerr: Elevation normal, water 63 and murky. Black bass
good on plastic baits and jerkbaits, 2-6 ft., near weedbeds and
stump fields; sand bass fair on shad type lures in the upper end;
channel catfish good on fresh shad, 15 ft.; crappie good on jigs
and small minnows, 1-5 ft., near weedbeds and stump fields.
Sardis: Elevation 2 ft. above normal, water 61. Black bass good
on top waters and spinnerbaits; sand bass good on yellow and white
spinnerbaits; crappie good, 2-8 ft., over brushpiles.
Texoma: Elevation 2 ft. below normal, water 62 and clear. Black
bass good on crankbaits, 5-10 ft., over brushpiles; sand bass good
on sassy shad, 5-10 ft., off points; striped bass good on live
shad, 15-20 ft., near the islands; channel catfish fair on cut
bait, 5-10 ft., in the Washita River; crappie good on minnows, 5-10
ft., near the railroad bridge.
Wister: Elevation 4 ft. above normal. Black bass good on dark
spinner baits and soft plastic baits, 2-10 ft.; channel catfish
good on shad, 4-8 ft.; crappie good on minnows, 3-9 ft., over
brushpiles.
NORTHWEST
Canton: Elevation normal. Sand bass and hybrids good on slabs
and live shad; channel catfish fair; crappie fair on minnows and
jigs, 5-10 ft.
Fort Supply: Sand bass fair on inline spinners in the
tributaries; crappie fair on minnows and jigs near brushpiles.
Great Salt Plains: Elevation normal, water murky. Channel
catfish good on shad and stinkbait.
SOUTHWEST
Altus-Lugert: Sand bass good in river channels; hybrids good on
live bait, 24-30 ft.; channel catfish good on cut bait; crappie
good on minnows and jigs, 6-8 ft., near rocks; walleye good early
and late in shallow water along the rocks.
Ellsworth: Elevation normal, water 64 and clear. Crappie
excellent on minnows and jigs, 2-10 ft., near rocks and brushpiles.
Foss: Elevation normal, water 59 and clear. Hybrids fair on
minnows, 30 ft., off the dam face; channel catfish good on cut bait
and shad in the upper end; saugeye fair on minnows and jigs off
points in the north end.
Fort Cobb: Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water murky. Crappie
good, 2-6 ft., near cover.
Tom Steed: Sand bass and hybrids good trolling crankbaits and on
large minnows off points; crappie good on minnows in Otter Creek
and Glen Creek.
Waurika: Elevation 2 ft. below normal, water murky. Crappie good
on minnows and jigs, 1-4 ft., near rocks and timber.
All fishing is reported as slow at the following lakes: Draper,
Pine Creek.
