(Knoxville, Tennessee-AP) -- An angler from Yukon, Oklahoma has qualified for the BASS Anglers Sportsman Society's Masters Classic in July in Chicago.
Dean Matts caught 23 pounds and 12 ounces of fish in three days at the BASS Federation National Championship to qualify for the tourney.
Alabaman Rickie Harp took the top amount of fish with a total of 27 pounds and seven ounces.
Matts and Harp will compete against 40 professional fishermen on Lake Michigan.
