shallow; sand bass good shallow on jigs and silver slabs in the
upper arms; crappie good on minnows and jigs, 15-20 ft., near
docks.
Draper: Elevation normal, water 55. Black bass good shallow on
spinnerbaits.
Hefner: Elevation normal, water clear. Channel catfish fair on
worms, liver and cut bait off the rocks around the dam; crappie
good on minnows and jigs near the docks.
Konawa: Elevation normal, water 71 and clear. Black bass fair on
plastic worms, 5-8 ft., in the weed beds and off points; sand bass
and hybrids fair on minnows, jigs, 15 ft., in the discharge canal;
channel catfish good on chicken liver and cut shad, 15 ft., in the
discharge canal.
Murray: Elevation 5 ft. below normal, water 67 and clear. Black
bass fair on plastic worms and medium-running crankbaits; sand bass
fair on minnows and jigs; channel catfish fair on cut bait; crappie
fair on minnows and jigs.
Overholser: Sand bass fair on minnows and spinnerbaits.
Thunderbird: Elevation 1 ft. below normal, water 55. Crappie
fair on minnows and jigs, 6 ft., over brushpiles.
Wes Watkins: Elevation normal, water 58. Black bass good off
points and brushpiles, 4-6 ft.; crappie good.
NORTHEAST
Birch: All fishing is fair.
Carl Blackwell: Elevation normal, water 60 and murky. Black bass
good on spinnerbaits; channel catfish fair on live bait and cut
bait; crappie good on minnows, jigs and spinners; saugeye good on
crankbaits.
Copan: Crappie good on minnows and jigs, 4-6 ft., in the coves.
Eucha: Elevation 2 ft. below normal, water 58 and clear. Black
bass and crappie excellent.
Fort Gibson: Elevation normal, water 63 and clear. Black bass
good on spinnerbaits and crankbaits, 6-8 ft., along windy
shorelines; crappie good on minnows and jigs, 3-4 ft., near
shoreline.
Grand: Sand bass fair on spinnerbaits off rocky points; channel
catfish fair on cut shad near mud flats; crappie good on minnows
and jigs, 10 ft., over brushpiles.
Greenleaf: Elevation normal, water clear. Black bass good on
spinnerbaits and crankbaits near riprap and shoreline; crappie good
on minnows and jigs near fishing docks and brushpiles.
Hudson: Black bass good on spinnerbaits and soft plastic
jerkbaits; channel catfish good on cut bait; crappie good on small
lures.
Hulah: All fishing is fair.
Kaw: Sand bass fair on jigs and inline spinnerbaits below the
dam; blue catfish fair on cut shad in the upper end; crappie good
on minnows and jigs, 1-6 ft., in the upper creeks.
Skiatook: Elevation normal, water clear lower, murky upper.
Black bass good on spinnerbaits and jerkbaits in the creeks and in
shallow water; hybrids fair on live shad and trolling crankbaits;
crappie good on minnows and jigs, 4-6 ft.
Sooner: Sand bass fair on minnows and jigs; crappie fair on
minnows and jigs off the highway and on docks in late evenings.
Spavinaw: Elevation normal, water 59 and clear. All fishing
reported good.
Tenkiller: Elevation normal, water clear. Black bass excellent
on jigs-and-pigs and lizards; crappie good shallow on minnows and
tube jigs; catfish excellent on jigs using cut shad, 45 ft.
Webbers Falls: Black bass good on spinnerbaits near riprap;
channel catfish good on cut bait and liver on bottom; crappie good
on minnows and jigs over brushpiles.
SOUTHEAST
Atoka: Elevation 8 ft. below normal, water 60. Crappie fair on
minnows, 2 ft., near structure.
Broken Bow: Elevation normal, water 62 and clear. Black bass
fair off points; crappie fair in the creek channels.
Eufaula: Elevation normal, water clear. Black bass good in
shallow areas; sand bass good below the dam when running; channel
catfish fair drifting cut shad near the flats; crappie excellent on
minnows and jigs, 1-6 ft.
Hugo: Elevation 2 ft. above normal, water 61. Black bass fair on
spinnerbaits; channel catfish fair on cut shad; crappie good on
live minnows.
McGee Creek: Elevation normal, water 60 and clear. Black bass
fair on spinnerbaits and soft plastic lures, 2-6 ft.
Robert S. Kerr: Elevation normal, water 69 and murky. Black bass
good on soft plastic baits and jerkbaits, 2-5 ft., near weed beds
and stump fields; sand bass fair on shad type lures in the upper
end; channel catfish good on fresh shad, 15 ft.; channel catfish
good on fresh shad, 15 ft.; crappie good on jigs and small minnows,
1-3 ft., near weed beds and stump fields around the edges.
Sardis: Black bass good on buzzbaits in the shallows in the
evenings; crappie excellent, 8-14 ft., near the Jack Fork bridge.
Texoma: Elevation 2 ft. below normal, water 64 and clear. Black
bass good on spinnerbaits, 5-10 ft., over brushpiles; sand bass
good on sassy shad, 5-10 ft., off points; striped bass good on live
shad, 15-20 ft., near the islands; channel catfish fair on cut
bait, 5-10 ft., in the Washita River; crappie good on minnows, 5-10
ft., near the railroad bridge.
Wister: Elevation 4 ft. above normal. Black bass good on soft
plastic baits, 2-8 ft.; channel catfish good on shad, 8-14 ft., on
trotlines; crappie good on minnows, 4-8 ft., over brushpiles.
NORTHWEST
Fort Supply: Elevation normal. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs
over brushpiles.
SOUTHWEST
Altus-Lugert: Sand bass good; channel catfish good on rocks and
in the river channel; crappie good on minnows and jigs, 6-8 ft.,
near rocks; walleye good early and late in shallow water along the
rocks.
Ellsworth: Elevation normal, water 63 and clear. Crappie fair on
minnows and jigs, 5-15 ft., near stump fields and brushpiles.
Foss: Elevation normal, water 57 and clear. Hybrids fair on
sassy shad and small lures off the face dam face; saugeye good on
minnows and jigs off the dam face.
Fort Cobb: Elevation normal, water clear. Sand bass excellent
trolling crankbaits and jigs off the dam in the evenings; Hybrids
good drifting shad around the islands; channel catfish good on cut
bait off windy points.
Tom Steed: Sand bass and hybrids good on large minnows off
points; crappie good on minnows and jigs, 5-8 ft., near rocks.
Waurika: Elevation 2 ft. below normal, water murky. Crappie good
on minnows and jigs, 1-4 ft., near rocks and timber.
All fishing is reported as slow at the following lakes: Arcadia.
