(Undated-AP) -- Oklahoma had a strong showing in this year's W-N-B-A draft. In addition to Oklahoma's Phylesha Whaley, two others with state ties were selected yesterday.
Whaley was picked in the third round by the Minnesota Lynx. The Lynx earlier took Texas Tech's Keitha Dickerson, who played at Elk City. Dickerson went in the second round.
U-Conn's Paige Sauer was selected by the Los Angeles Sparks in the second round. She played high school ball at Carl Albert High School in Midwest City.
