CENTRAL
Hefner: Elevation normal, water clear. Channel catfish fair on
worms, liver and cut bait off the rocks around the dam; crappie
good on minnows and jigs near the docks.
Overholser: Hybrids good on white grubs, liver and shad.
Wes Watkins: Elevation normal, water 55 and murky. Black bass
good on spinnerbaits and plastic worms, 4-6 ft., and near brush
piles.
NORTHEAST
Carl Blackwell: Elevation normal, water 60 and murky. Black bass
good on spinnerbaits; channel catfish fair on live bait and cut
bait; crappie good on minnows and jigs.
Copan: Crappie good on minnows and jigs in the coves.
Eucha: Elevation normal, water 55 and clear. Sand bass and
crappie excellent.
Fort Gibson: Elevation 1 ft. below normal, water 60. Sand bass
good on plastic twister jigs and minnows in the creek channels;
crappie good on minnows and jigs, 3-4 ft., near brush and
shoreline.
Grand: Channel catfish fair on cut shad in shallow water;
crappie good on minnows and jigs, 8-12 ft., near brush piles and
bridges.
Greenleaf: Black bass good on spinnerbaits and jig 'n pig near
rip rap and shoreline; crappie good on minnows and jigs near
fishing docks and brush structure.
Hudson: Black bass good on spinnerbaits and plastic worms; sand
bass good at the mouths of creek channels and in the upper part of
the river; channel catfish good on cut bait; crappie good on
minnows and jigs.
Kaw: Elevation normal, water murky. Sand bass fair on minnows,
jigs and spinnerbaits below the dam; crappie good on minnows, 2-8
ft., in Beaver, Otter and Bear creeks.
Keystone: Elevation normal, water 55 and murky. Channel catfish
fair on cut shad; crappie fair on minnows and jigs near brush
piles.
Skiatook: Elevation normal, water clear lower, murky upper.
Black bass good on spinnerbaits and jerk baits in the creeks and in
shallow water; hybrids fair on live shad and trolling crankbaits;
crappie good on minnows in the shallow creeks.
Spavinaw: Elevation normal, water 55 and clear. All fishing
reported good.
Tenkiller: Elevation normal, water clear. Black bass excellent
with fish starting to be located on spawning beds; crappie
excellent with large fish being caught in shallow water, 3-5 ft.;
catfish excellent on cut shad, 45 ft.
Webbers Falls: Black bass fair on spinnerbaits and crankbaits
near rip rap; channel catfish good on cut bait and liver on bottom;
crappie good on minnows and jigs near brush structure.
SOUTHEAST
Arbuckle: Elevation normal, water 62 and clear. Black bass good
in shallow water; sand bass good on jigs, spinnerbaits and small
spoons in shallow water in the upper arms; crappie good on minnows
and jigs, 15 ft., near docks.
Eufaula: Elevation normal, water clear. Black bass good on
plastic baits and spinnerbaits in shallow areas; sand bass good
below the dam when running and in feeder creeks; channel catfish
fair drifting cut shad near the flats; crappie excellent on minnows
and jigs, 1-6 ft.
Hugo: Elevation 3 ft. above normal and dropping, water 60. Black
bass fair on spinnerbaits; channel catfish fair on cut shad;
crappie good on live minnows.
Konawa: Elevation normal, water 69 and clear. Black bass fair on
plastic worms, 8 ft., in the weed beds; sand bass and hybrids fair
on minnows, jigs and shad, 15 ft., in the discharge canal; channel
catfish good on chicken liver and cut shad, 15 ft., in the
discharge canal.
McGee Creek: Elevation normal, water 60 and clear. Black bass
fair on spinnerbaits and soft plastic lures, 3-6 ft.
Murray: Elevation 5 ft. below normal, water 66 and clear. Black
bass fair on plastic worms and medium running lures; sand bass fair
on minnows and jigs; crappie fair on minnows and jigs.
Pine Creek: Elevation normal, water 57 and clear. Black bass
fair on crankbaits and spinnerbaits, 5 ft., in creek channels and
off points; crappie fair on minnows and jigs in creek channels.
Robert S. Kerr: Elevation normal, water 60 and murky. Black bass
fair on plastic baits and spinnerbaits, 2-5 ft., near weed beds and
stump fields; sand bass fair on shad type lures in the major
tributaries; channel catfish good on fresh shad, 15-30 ft., in old
river channels; crappie good on jigs and small minnows, 1-3 ft.,
near weed beds and stump fields around the edges of the lake.
Sardis: Elevation normal, water 60 and clear. Black bass good on
crankbaits and spinnerbaits, 2-5 ft., off points; sand bass
excellent on white and yellow jigs; crappie fair on minnows and
jigs in creek channels.
Texoma: Elevation 2 ft. below normal, water 60 and clear. Black
bass good on crankbaits, 5-10 ft., off points; sand bass good on
sassy shad, 5-10 ft., off points; striped bass good on live shad,
15-20 ft., near the islands; channel catfish good on cut bait, 5-10
ft., in the Washita River; crappie good on minnows, 5-10 ft., near
the railroad bridge.
Wister: Elevation 3 ft. above normal, water murky. Black bass
good on dark colored plastic worms, 2-10 ft.; channel catfish good
on whole shad, 6-16 ft.; crappie good on minnows, 3-12 ft., near
brush piles.
NORTHWEST
Great Salt Plains: Elevation normal, water murky. Channel
catfish good on shad and stinkbaits.
SOUTHWEST
Altus-Lugert: Sand bass and hybrids good on live bait on bottom;
channel catfish good on cut bait in the North end of the lake;
crappie good on minnows and jigs, 3-6 ft., near rocks; walleye good
early and late in shallow water along the rocks.
Foss: Elevation normal, water 58 and clear. Hybrids fair on
minnows and shad off points; channel catfish good on cut bait in
the river area; saugeye good on minnows and jigs off the face of
the dam.
Fort Cobb: Elevation normal, water clear. Sand bass good on
small crankbaits and spinnerbaits in the evenings around the dam;
channel catfish good on cut bait off windy points; crappie good on
minnows and jigs, 4-6 ft., near structure.
Tom Steed: Sand bass and hybrids good on large minnows off
points; crappie good on minnows and jigs, 5-10 ft. In Otter and
Glenn creeks; walleye good on roadrunners and curly tails, 5-10
ft., off rocks.
Waurika: Elevation 2 ft. below normal, water murky. Hybrids good
on sassy shad near the East side of the dam; crappie good on
minnows and jigs, early and late near boat docks, rocks and timber.
All fishing is reported as slow at the following lakes: Arcadia,
Atoka, Ellsworth, Keystone.
