(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Governor Keating today appointed Deirdre Dexter, of Tulsa, an associate district judge for Tulsa County.
Keating says Dexter will take over in May and is replacing Judge B-R Beasley, who is retiring.
The 43-year-old Dexter has practiced law with the Tulsa firm of Conner and Winters since 1984. She has a law degree from the University of Oklahoma.
