(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Eight-year-old Colin Cutter didn't surprise anybody when he won the two-mile wheelchair event at the Redbud Classic in Oklahoma City.
Cutter's grown-up contemporary was Todd Brown who won the Ten-K wheelchair event yesterday. Brown says he wasn't surprised at all that Cutter won the two-mile. He says a lot of the kids are fast and light and they can get those wheelchairs cooking.
Cutter says he was lifting weights and training hard for the event.
The Fisher Elementary student was born with spina bifida. Cutter's been racing since he was four-years-old.
Danny Morris who is an assistant therapist at Children's Hospital ran the race to keep Cutter company.
