(Miami-AP) -- The attorney for Elian Gonzalez's father is on his way to Cuba to consult with his client.
Gregory Craig left from Washington tonight.
Diplomats in Havana have delivered visas for Elian's father, Juan Miguel Gonzalez, and five other people to travel to the U-S.
The State Department says it's reviewing visa requests from 22 other Cubans.
Gonzalez says he'll either travel alone to the U-S to pick up his son and return to Cuba immediately, or go with all the people he considers "indispensable" if he has to stay while the case is appealed.
Meantime, U-S immigration officials and Elian's Miami relatives will meet again Thursday. They've been trying to reach agreement on turning Elian over to his father.
A government official says there are two unresolved issues. One is the role of a team of psychologists, and the other is whether or not Elian's father would stay in the U-S while the case is being appealed.
