(Undated-AP) -- Oklahoma's two major colleges are well represented in Major League Baseball this year.
The season opened yesterday with ten former Cowboys and Sooners on big-league rosters.
Three former Sooners are major league rookies this year. They are Steve Connelly at Oakland, Ryan Minor with Baltimore and Russ Ortiz with San Francisco.
Big-league veterans include former Sooner Bobby Witt with the Cleveland Indians, and O-S-U's Robin Ventura with the Mets.
