(Detroit-AP) -- Thomas Hearns says it will be the last fight of his career.

Promoters say he's scheduled to meet former cruiserweight champion Uriah Grant on April eighth in Detroit's Joe Louis Arena.

Hearns is 59-4-and-1 with 46 knockouts in his career. He now holds the fringe I-B-O cruiserweight title.

During his career the 41-year-old boxer has held belts in every weight class from welterweight to cruiserweight.
