A fire damaged two 8th floor apartments of the University Club Towers building Friday afternoon. The building is located at 17th and Carson near downtown Tulsa. Photo courtesy: KOTV - The News on Six

Firefighters contained a fire at a downtown Tulsa high-rise apartment building Friday afternoon. Black smoke poured out of the 8th floor of the University Club Towers at 17th and Carson streets. The fire was limited to two apartments.

There were no reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The apartment complex overlooks the Arkansas River. It is known for its circular shape.
