(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals today set execution dates for a pair of death row inmates who have exhausted their appeals.
Charles Adrian Foster is scheduled to be executed May 25th for the 1983 slaying of an elderly Muskogee grocer. Seventy-four-year-old Claude Wiley was delivering groceries to Foster's home when Foster beat him with a baseball bat, then took him to a remote area and stabbed him three times.
The execution of James Glenn Robedeaux is set for June first for the 1985 dismemberment death of Nancy McKinney.
Parts of the 37-year-old's body were found over a three-county-area.
Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson requested the execution dates yesterday after the U-S Supreme Court refused to hear the convicted killers' final appeals.
