(Tulsa-AP) -- Miami basketball coach Leonard Hamilton is happy to face his former assistant Bill Self in the N-C-A-A Sweet Sixteen.
The Friday South Regional semifinal is sure to be a whirlwind.
Hamilton's Hurricanes play Tulsa after an upset over 3rd-seeded Ohio State. As for the Golden Hurricane, it beat 2nd-seeded Cincinnati to advance.
Hamilton, who coached at Oklahoma State from 1986 to 1990, says he always looks for Tulsa's scores. He hired Self as his assistant at O-S-U 14 years ago.
Hamilton says his heart is with Self and vice versa.
The tip off of the Tulsa - Miami game is scheduled for 6:55 PM Friday. Watch the game only on your N-C-A-A Tournament station, KOTV Channel 6.
