(Washington-AP) -- A chicken product sold in Oklahoma and 12 other states is being recalled.
Zartic Incorporated of Rome, Georgia, is recalling 18-thousand-600 pounds of chicken breast fritters that may have been sold in packages that do NOT disclose that the product contains eggs.
Eggs cause allergies in some people.
The product was packaged for institutional use in 13 states and was not sold in stores.
The U-S Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service says each of the 18-pound cases in which the product was sold has a code of 6-3-0-1-4 on the label, and P-7-0-3 appears inside the USDA seal of inspection.
