OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Here are the conditions at Oklahoma lakes as reported Wednesday by the state Department of Wildlife Conservation and lake rangers.


CENTRAL
Arbuckle: Elevation 3 ft. below normal, water 60 and clear.
Black bass, sand bass and crappie good.
Draper: Elevation normal, water 50. Sand bass good on minnows
and jigs at the water inlet.
Hefner: Channel catfish fair on liver and cut bait; crappie fair
on minnows and jigs off the docks and near the dam.
Konawa: Elevation normal, water 60 and clear. Black bass good on
crankbaits and plastic worms, 5-8 ft., over roadbeds and off
points; sand bass fair on minnows and jigs, 15 ft., in the
discharge canal; channel catfish fair, 15 ft., in the discharge
canal.
Murray: Elevation 4 ft. below normal, water 52 and clear. Black
bass fair on medium-diving crankbaits; sand bass and crappie fair
on minnows.
Overholser: Sand bass and hybrids fair near the rocks; crappie
fair on minnows and jigs near the docks.
Thunderbird: Elevation below normal, water 50. Black bass fair
on spinnerbaits in shallow water; crappie good on minnows and jigs,
6-8 ft., near brushpiles.
NORTHEAST
Carl Blackwell: Elevation normal, water 55 and murky. Black bass
good on spinnerbaits; sand bass good on minnows and jigs; crappie
good on minnows and jigs; saugeye good on chrome colored
Rat-L-Traps.
Eucha: Elevation normal, water 40 and clear. All fishing
reported good.
Fort Gibson: Elevation normal, water 59 and clear. Sand bass
fair on minnows and twister tails in the creeks mouths; channel
catfish good on whole shad or cut shad, 20-30 ft., off windy
shorelines; crappie fair on minnows and jigs, 8-10 ft., near brush
and docks.
Grand: Sand bass good on spinnerbaits and spoons drift fishing
the rocky points; channel catfish good on cut shad on jug lines and
trotlines, 15 ft.; crappie fair on minnows and jigs, 8-10 ft., over
brushpiles.
Greenleaf: Black bass fair on spinnerbaits and crankbaits near
riprap and shoreline; crappie good on minnows and jigs near fishing
docks and brushpiles.
Hudson: Black bass good on spinnerbaits; channel catfish good on
worms and blood bait; crappie good on minnows and jigs near heated
docks and brushpiles.
Kaw: Elevation normal, water muddy. Sand bass good on jigs and
inline spinners below the dam; channel catfish fair on cut shad in
the upper part of the lake; crappie fair on jigs and minnows near
brushpiles; paddlefish snagging excellent below Kaw Dam.
Keystone: Elevation 2 ft. above normal, water 47 and murky. Sand
bass fair on white grubs in creek channels; channel catfish fair on
cut shad on trotlines in deep water.
Skiatook: Elevation 1 ft. below normal, water murky. Black bass
fair on spinnerbaits and jerkbaits in the creeks; crappie fair on
minnows and jigs near deep brushpiles.
Sooner: Sand bass and hybrids fair on crankbaits and live bait
in the discharge canal; channel catfish fair on live bait in the
discharge canal; crappie fair on minnows and jigs near brushpiles.
Spavinaw: Elevation normal, water 40 and clear. All fishing
reported good.
Tenkiller: Elevation 1 ft. above normal, clear lower, murky
upper. Black bass fair using Texas rigged worms; crappie good over
cover, 15 ft.; sand bass good, early males are staging below
Horseshoe Bend. Due to murky water fish are being caught off white
jigs off the bottom of the river channel; catfish fair using cut
bait with juglines, 45 ft.
Webbers Falls: Black bass good on crankbaits near rip rap;
channel catfish good on cut bait on bottom; crappie fair on minnows
and jigs near brushpiles and bridges.
SOUTHEAST
Atoka: Elevation 9 ft. below normal, water 56. Crappie fair on
live minnows near the bridges off Hwy 43.
Eufaula: Elevation 1 ft. below normal, water clear in the East,
murky in the West. Black bass good on soft plastic baits near
shallow, rocky areas; sand bass good below the dam; crappie good on
minnows and jigs, 8-20 ft., near boat docks and riprap.
Hugo: Elevation normal, water 52. Crappie fair on live minnows.
McGee Creek: Elevation 1 ft. below normal, water 56 and clear.
Black bass good on spinnerbaits and soft plastic lures, 1-6 ft.
Robert S. Kerr: Elevation normal, water 53 and murky. Black bass
fair on soft plastic baits and spinnerbaits, 6-8 ft., off rocky
shorelines; sand bass good on shad-imitating lures, 3-6 ft., at the
creek mouths and rivers; channel catfish fair on shad, 15-20 ft.,
in the river channel; crappie good on small minnows, 8-10 ft., in
creek channels.
Sardis: Elevation 2 ft. below normal, water 50 and clear. Black
bass good on spinnerbaits and soft baits off rocky points; sand
bass good on minnows and jigs near rocks; crappie good on minnows,
8-10 ft.
Texoma: Elevation 4 ft. below normal, water 58 and clear. Black
bass fair on spinnerbaits, 5-10 ft., off points; striped bass good
on live shad, 15-20 ft., near islands; catfish fair on cut bait,
5-10 ft., in the Washita River; crappie fair on minnows, 15-20 ft,
near the railroad bridge.
Wister: Black bass fair on salt craws, 8-14 ft.; crappie good on
minnows, 14-18 ft., over brushpiles.
NORTHWEST
Canton: Elevation normal. Sand bass and hybrids fair; channel
catfish good; crappie fair on minnows and jigs, 11-13 ft., over
brushpiles; walleye good near submerged islands.
Fort Supply: Sand bass and walleye good on jigs and spinners.
SOUTHWEST
Altus-Lugert: Walleye good on minnows and jigs off rocks.
Ellsworth: Elevation 5 ft. below normal, water 52 and clear.
Crappie fair on minnows and jigs in the deep creek channels and
near boat docks.
Foss: Elevation normal, water clear. Hybrids fair on minnows, 30
ft.; saugeye fair on minnows and small jigs, 30 ft., off points.
Fort Cobb: Crappie good on minnows near the marina and over
brushpiles; walleye good in the evenings trolling crankbaits near
the dam.
Waurika: Elevation 3 ft. below normal. Sand bass and hybrids
fair near the shoreline on the East side; channel catfish good on
cut shad off windy points; crappie fair on minnows, 10-12 ft.
All fishing is reported as slow at the following lakes: Birch,
Broken Bow, Great Salt Plains, Hulah.
