(Washington-AP) -- Republican Representative J-C Watts of Norman has drawn a second Republican challenger in his re-election bid.

James Odom announced today that he will run against Watts for the Republican nomination in the Fourth congressional district. The 28-year-old Odom is a former Capitol Hill aide to Senator John Ashcroft of Missouri. Odom now lives on a farm near Lawton and says he will emphasize his anti-abortion stand and reforming Medicare and Social Security.

Susan Ducey of Moore is also challenging Watts, who has won re-election by increasingly larger margins over Democratic rivals. Watts is the only black Republican in Congress.
