People angered by the death of Amadou Diallo are holding a prayer vigil Sunday afternoon in front of the United Nations.

Activist and minister the Reverend Al Sharpton is expected to lead the vigil. There have been numerous protests following Friday's acquittal of four white New York City police officers. They were charged with murder after shooting the unarmed Diallo to death.

Saturday, more than 25-hundred people marched down Fifth Avenue in midtown Manhattan chanting "Killer cops have got to go." About40 people were arrested when they sat down in the street near St.Patrick's Cathedral and blocked traffic. Since the end of the trial, Diallo's mother has called for prayers and calm.

A member of the jury who cleared the officers of all charges, says jurors may make a statement sometime today.
