(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Kerr-McGee Corporation will receive the Offshore Technology Conference 2000 Distinguished Achievement Award for outstanding contributions to the advancement of offshore technology. The O-T-C Award will be presented May Second in Houston.
Kerr-McGee won the award for the company's Neptune spar in the Gulf of Mexico. The Neptune floating production spar featured the first use of as par for offshore production processing and operations. Luke R- Corbett is Kerr-McGee chairman and chief executive officer. Corbett says he's proud of the employees for setting the industry standard for technological advancement.
