(Enid-AP) -- Garfield County officials took ten Mexican men into custody after a routine traffic stop. Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper Kevin Bradshaw pulled over a pickup with Arizona plates because one of the three occupants in the front didn't have on a seat belt which is state law.

When the camper shell was opened, Bradshaw found seven men lying in the bed of the pickup packed like sardines. The men were from central Mexico. They're being held in the Garfield County jail. Immigration and Naturalization Service officials are planned to pick them up and transport them to Oklahoma City.

The stop was the fourth incident leading to the arrest of illegal immigrants. Two stops occurred in Lahoma earlier this month. The incidents led to the discovery of 38 aliens. The other stop occurred in Alva.
