(Dallas-AP) -- Former Dallas Cowboys stars Bob Lilly and Roger Staubach and by former New York Giants star Sam Huff are slated to eulogize Tom Landry at Thursday's public memorial. Joining them in speaking will be Atlanta Falcons coach and former Cowboys player-coach Dan Reeves, former Cowboys general manager Tex Schramm, N-F-L commissioner Paul Tagliabue and former Cowboys Don Perkins and Rayfield Wright.
The public memorial will be at four p-m Central time Thursday at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. Landry died Saturday of leukemia, which he'd been fighting for nine months. He was 75.
A private gathering of players and coaches is scheduled for tonight at an undisclosed location. Landry will be laid to rest in a private burial Thursday morning. At noon Central time, a memorial ceremony for family and friends is planned at Highland Park United Methodist Church, where Landry was a member for 43 years.
