(Lincoln, Nebraska-AP) -- Nicole Kubik had 29 points and nine rebounds as Nebraska held off Number 23 Kansas 75-to-72 today, snapping the Jayhawks' four-game winning streak.
Nebraska ended its own three-game losing skid with the win.
Reserve Paige Sutton had 11 points for Nebraska, which improves to 12-and-10 overall, and six-and-five in the Big 12.
The Cornhuskers swept the season series with the Jayhawks for the first time since the 1988-89 season. Nebraska has won four of the last five meetings between the schools.
Kansas overall is 17-and-six and eight-and-three in the Big 12.
Suzi Raymant led Kansas with 20 points and Lynn Pride scored 18. Jennifer Jackson had 14 points and Jaclyn Johnson scored 10 with 11 rebounds for the Jayhawks, who had won four straight.
