(Enid-AP) -- Enid's new United States Basketball League franchise has a name and logo -- now it just needs players and coaches. The team wants to be called the Storm. It has unveiled its moniker and its logo, which features a spiraling tornado framed by the team's name.

Team owner James Sears Bryant says the name reflects where theteam is from and shows -- quote -- "the path we are going to weav ein this league." Bryant says U-S-B-L headquarters in Connecticut still must make final approval of the name and logo. More than two thousand entries took a shot at naming the team in an eight-day contest. The Storm's season opener is scheduled for April 21st.
