(Noble) -- One season was enough for Noble head football coach Alan Ogles. The 35-year-old is stepping down after his team went just 1-and-9 in Class Five-A this past season.

There are now 18 teams in the state looking for a head coach. Ogles took over in September for Brian Butler who went on medical leave. By the end of the season, Noble had just 21 players showing up for practice.

Ogles says he simply wants to move on. The Bears are 3-and-37 over the last four years and haven't had a winning season since 1995.
