(Norman-AP) -- U-S Representative J-C Watts is running again. Watts announced his intentions this afternoon in a news conference in Norman, surrounded by family.

He said he and his wife, Frankie, had decided that he needs to continue to fight. He had signed a pledge in 1994 to serve only three terms. But he says regardless of that, he will run for re-election to a fourth term and let the voters decide.

Watts is chairman of the House Republican Conference. Susan Ducey of Moore announced in October that she would run for the Republican
