Blood Donations Sought in Green Country

Members of Congress are joining the "Fight for Life" by donating blood. Party lines disappeared today when senators and representatives alike joined together to do their part to help replenish the nation's dangerously low blood supply. They lined up for the second annual Capitol Hill blood drive, calling themselves "The 2000 Congressional Fight for Life Host Committee." They said they hope America will realize how easy it is to give the gift of life.

If you'd like to donate blood, go to the two American Red Cross locations in Tulsa. They have offices at 11th Street and highway 169 and at 7717 South Memorial Drive. To find out about other locations around Tulsa County, call the American Red Cross at 831-1151.
