(Minneapolis, Minnesota-AP) -- It's up to a jury to decide whether Koch (coke) Petroleum Group rightfully fired Charles Chadwell at its Rosemount, Minnesota, refinery.

In a lawsuit Chadwell claims he lost his job in retaliation for reporting pollution violations to the state.

In closing arguments today Chadwell's attorney, Jeffrey Anderson, asked the federal jury to award the Prescott, Wisconsin, man more than 190-thousand dollars in lost earnings. He also asks for up to two (m) million dollars for emotional distress.

Chuck Webber represents Koch, whose parent company is in Wichita.

Webber told the jury Koch fired Chadwell because he was insubordinate and didn't help with an internal investigation of the
pollution problems.
