Broken Arrow man fatally stabbed in domestic argument

(Broken Arrow-AP) -- Broken Arrow police say a man fatally stabbed in a domestic dispute was the estranged husband of a woman who had an active Tulsa County protective order on him. The police say they found 39-year-old Joseph Edward Williams lying dead inside the Broken Arrow residence of his wife Linda Williams at about 9:30 p-m last night. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Broken Arrow police say witnesses say the stabbing took place during a confrontation. They say there were as many as four individuals at Linda Williams' residence at the time of the incident. Police say a possible suspect left the residence before police arrived, but a suspect hasn't been identified at this time. Investigators say Joseph Williams formerly lived at the residence with his wife.
