A Commerce man Friday pleaded guilty to allowing his former teen-age stepdaughter to be videotaped having sex with men he met through a swinger's magazine.
Thirty-two-year-old Jarrod Julian pleaded guilty to criminal conspiracy, taking part in the videotaping of sex acts involving a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor by a person in a parental role. Julian, Truman Wolery, Rick Welch and Wayne Siegel have been charged in federal and state courts regarding the videotapes that were made from November 1995 to September 1999 when the girl was 12 to 15 years old.
Julian conceded in his plea agreement that he had control and a form of custody over the girl even though he and his wife were divorced. Jury selection in the cases against Welch, Wolery and Siegel is scheduled for Tuesday.
Julian is scheduled to be formally sentenced April 26th. He could get between 10 and 45 years.
