(Undated-AP) -- Ole Miss finished in the Top 25, ranked at Number 22 after finishing their season by beating Oklahoma in the Independence Bowl 27-to-25 on New Year's Eve. Oklahoma received points but did not finish in the Top 25 after a 7-and-5 season.

Other Big 12 teams that finished in the Top 25 included Nebraska at Number three, Kansas State at Number six, Texas at Number 21 and Texas A-and-M at Number 23. Colorado also received points in the voting.
