(Tulsa-AP) -- Thirty years in prison is the penalty being recommended by prosecutors for a former Oral Roberts University student for molesting young boys attending camp on the O-R-U campus. Twenty-year-old Avery Demont Lawson of Temple, Texas pleaded guilty yesterday to four counts of lewd molestation and single counts of sexual battery and lewd molestation, forcible sodomy and indecent proposal to a child.
Lawson will face sentencing on February seventh. An affidavit says Lawson admitted to committing several sexual assaults on six different juvenile boys attending soccer camps and math/science academies. O-R-U expelled Lawson who was a theology student after his arrest.
