(Claremore-AP) -- Authorities say an 88-year-old woman found dead in side her Claremore home appears to be a homicide victim. Lieutenant John Cummings says Erie Anderson Raybon's son-in-law discovered her body yesterday when he went to check on her because she didn't respond to telephone calls.

Cummings says it appears the woman suffered trauma to the head. The state medical examiner will be performing an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Cummings says the back door of her home had been broken into. He says items appear to be missing. Officials say Raybon was last seen alive on Sunday.
