(Tempe, Arizona-AP) -- Nebraska still has a shot at finishing second in the final polls after winning the Fiesta Bowl 31-to-21 over Tennessee. The outcome leaves the third-ranked Cornhuskers 12-and-1, with the lone loss coming against Texas. Eric Crouch completed nine of 15 passes for 148 yards and one touchdown. The Vols pulled within 17-to-14 before Crouch hit Aaron Golliday for a 13-yard touchdown. Nebraska scored the first 17 points before Tennessee mounted a comeback. Nebraska regained control of the game when Crouch engineered scoring drives of 96 and 99 yards. The Huskers rushed for 321 yards and had 469 yards overall. Dan Alexander registered 108 rushing yards to lead Nebraska. Sixth-ranked Tennessee finishes the season 9-and-3.
