OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Two people involved in cases in Oklahoma were pardoned Thursday by President Clinton. Meredith Marcus Appleton II and Virgil Edwin West were among the 37 pardoned. Appleton was sentenced in 1990 for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine and to distribute cocaine. West was sentenced in 1982 for mail fraud.
