(Fayetteville-AP) -- Former heavyweight boxing champion Tommy Morrison was hospitalized for tests determine whether his H-I-V case has developed into AIDS. Morrison was in satisfactory condition last night at a Fayetteville hospital. That comes after a judge on Tuesday revoked his bond pending a mental evaluation on whether he is fit to face drug and weapon charges.

Morrison's attorney, John "Rusty" Hudson, says he requested Morrison be hospitalized after noticing a recent, drastic change in his physical and mental conditions. Morrison faces charges in Washington and Madison counties stemming from two incidents. In 1993, he won the World Boxing Organization title in 1993 by knocking out George Foreman.
