(Fayetteville-AP) -- Former heavyweight boxing champion Tommy Morrison has been sent to Washington County Jail at Fayetteville. Morrison was ordered jailed today after his bond was revoked, in part because of his recent arrest in Madison County.
The bond was revoked because authorities at the scene of the Madison County arrest found documents in the car indicating he was a flight risk. Those documents included a fake Kansas driver's license, an application for identification and an application for a passport. Morrison was arrested in September when Fayetteville police stopped his car and allegedly found cocaine, guns, marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. He has pleaded innocent to the charges.
Out on bond, Morrison was arrested again on Thanksgiving Day following an accident in Madison County involving a car registered to his wife but driven by a Fayetteville man. In connection with that incident, Morrison was charged with public intoxication, possession of marijuana, criminal impersonation and carrying a concealed weapon.
